Questions and answers pile up as we reach the end of the three-year artistic research project Sense & Dance.

Can costumes help activate an audience?

Can dance improve architecture?

Do you know when you’re dancing?

What does dance and culture taste like?

And who is to eat it?

The background for the symposium

Three years ago Ingrid Kristensen & Co. began an intense journey into the world of senses and dance

The visions for the artistic research project was to make dance more accessible for unfamiliar audience groups, to democratize the artistic experience and research and explore the elusiveness of dance by experimenting with dance in other formats than the usual.

This is all done with inspiration and new knowledge across aestetic boarders. The Sense & Dance project has helped build bridge and show new ways to create artistic pieces with added value for the artistic environment and society as a general.

The essence of this journey can be experienced at the symposium January 10th.
